How it works

What the child does
Reads each analogue clock and writes the time: the hour on sheets 1–9, hours and minutes (half and quarter hours) on sheets 10–15.

How it's checked
The child colours every cell in the grid of hours or times that matches an answer. If the answers are right, the coloured cells form a picture.

Why it works
Every clock counts. The grid also holds the usual misreadings, like 4:45 for 3:45, so a wrong reading leaves part of the picture blank.
