How it works
Every game has a child sheet and an answer key. Print the sheet, let the child work, then check with the key.
- 1
Print the sheet
The sheet PDF is the page the child gets. It has no answers on it.
- 2
The child solves it
Counting, sums, first letters, clocks, patterns or a short story, depending on the game.
- 3
Check with the key
The packet PDF has the same sheet plus the answer key. Keep that page for yourself.
How a hidden-picture sheet works
Five of the games work this way. The child makes the colour key first, then uses it.
1. Make the key
The child solves the tasks at the top and writes the answers in the boxes. Those answers are the key.
Answers the child wrote:
2. Use the key
The child colours every cell in the grid that matches an answer. The matching cells form a picture.
Cells that match an answer get coloured:
One crayon is enough. It isn't colour-by-number: nobody hands the child a colour legend, because the answers are the legend.
All games
Each game practises a different skill.
Find, Count and Discover
Finds each object in the scene, counts it (1 to 9) and writes the number in its box.
OpenSound and Discover
Names each picture out loud, listens for the first sound and writes that letter in the box.
OpenContinue and Discover
Looks at each row, spots the rule and draws or writes the piece that comes next.
OpenCalculate and Discover
Solves addition and subtraction to 20 and writes each result in its box.
OpenClock and Discover
Reads each analogue clock and writes the time: the hour on sheets 1–9, hours and minutes (half and quarter hours) on sheets 10–15.
