How it works

What the child does
Draws one straight line for two equal parts, or two lines for four, on nine shapes per sheet.

How it's checked
The answer key draws the cut lines in colour. Where more than one answer is right, it shows one of them.

Why it works
Finding the line that makes two halves match is the first step to symmetry and fractions. Every shape is checked to be truly symmetric along the answer line.
