Counting to 10 worksheets
Counting objects one by one, touching each just once, is the first real maths skill. Here the child finds things in a busy picture, counts them and writes the number. The numbers then show which cells to colour, so a miscount shows up as a gap in the picture.

Tips for practising
- Ask the child to tick or dot every object as they count it, so nothing is counted twice.
- Say the last number loudly: that is how many there are.
- If the picture has a gap, count that object again together.
